At Trade Building Products we are extremely confident in the standard and quality of the products that we offer.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. 

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted, or we won't be able to provide a refund (if applicable) 
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error 
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery 

We cannot take powders back due to storage requirements.

Damaged Products

We always inspect our products prior to sending, and only send in perfect condition, we also only work with courier companies who take great care, but if your product arrives damaged however from the delivery process we will exchange the product or provide you with a full refund. 

You must inform us within 5 days of receiving delivery of receiving damaged items, outside of this we will unfortunately not be able to provide a refund.

We reserve the right to inspect all returned products prior to agreeing to any full refund, part refund or exchange.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable) 
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. 

Exchanges (if applicable) 
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@tradebuildingproducts.co.uk, and then when we confirm send your item to:

Products no longer required

If you no longer require the product, then we can take it back. There will be a 30% restocking charge (to cover our original courier costs and handling) and then delivery charges for us to get it back. Please send us an email in the event and we can confirm all potential charges and return details.

Unfortunately, due to shelf life, and storage we won't be able to accept powders back.

We also won't be able to return orders specially made for you.

Shipping on products no longer required:
To return your product, you should send your product to:

Trade Building Products, Units 22-23, Bulleigh Barton Commercial Estate, Ipplepen Road, Newton Abbot, TQ12 5UA.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Alternatively, collection of the product can be arranged through our nominated carrier - if the item was damaged or faulty, we will arrange this and the cost will be at our expense. 

If the collection is for an item no longer required we can also arrange collection, but the cost will be payable by you, we can let you know this prior to collection.

If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
