When you place an order online, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you have provided.

If you haven't received your confirmation email, please do check your spam/junk folders.

If the email isn't in those folders, do email and we can look at whether there has been a typo on the email address, which we can amend and get a confirmation sent across accordingly.

Yes - please contact us at your earliest convenience and we are happy to amend your order.

Please note - if your order has already been despatched, we cannot amend your order.

If the items you want to order are marked as out of stock, we are happy to speak to the manufacturer to get a lead time on the products you are looking for.

We are also happy to have orders placed and kept on back order for when the product is back in stock.

Our experienced sales team can offer potential alternative products that will also suit your needs.

Large Orders

If you're looking to place a large order with us, we are happy to give you the best possible price possible.

In some cases, large orders can be sent directly from the manufacturer and that can speed up the delivery time.

If you've ordered products that requires delivery via a pallet, this is usually delivered with 48hrs of the courier collecting from our depot.

If you require a specific day of delivery, please let us know in advance and we can arrange this for you.

We will use pallet deliveries where the product is bulky, heavy or fragile.

These deliveries are to kerb-side only - you will be responsible for moving the goods from the roadside to the property.


Products that are ordered online are usually dispatched within 3 - 5 working days. Due to the different sizes and weights of certain products, delivery times can vary. We use couriers including FedEx, DPD, ParcelForce and Royal Mail - during busy periods, couriers can be face delays, but all tracking information will be sent across to you once your item(s) has been collected.

All orders are sent with a next day delivery service against it, but postcodes in the Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland can take between 2 - 3 working days for the courier to deliver.

When contacting the team, please have your TBP reference number handy so that we can find your details and deal with your enquiry quickly and efficiently.

Once your item(s) has been collected by the courier, tracking information will be sent across accordingly to inform you of which courier has your order and when to expect delivery.

Further emails will follow once your order is 'Out For Delivery' and then when the order has been 'Delivered'.

If you have not received tracking information or your tracking information has not been updated when it has been collected, we would recommend contacting us or the courier directly to get an update.

Depending on your order and the items you have ordered, multiple items can be split across our different distribution centres or direct from the manufacturer to speed up the delivery time.

Occasionally couriers can split orders between different drivers/vehicles, so if your order is with the courier but you haven't received all the items, you should expect these to delivered the following day.

If missing items aren't delivered the following day, please get in touch with us and we can speak to the courier.

If you items haven't been delivered by the courier by the allocated time, please get in touch and we can chase them up for you.

During extremely busy periods, couriers sometimes require an additional working day to get your order delivered.

Trade Building Products are classed as an essential retailer, we are still very much open whilst operating the highest safety measures.

Staff & customer safety is our top priority; Our office and warehouse teams are operating in bubbles to ensure that they remain safe, and our service levels remain as high as possible.

All Covid 19 safety measures are being followed.

Global supply chains have had a lot of stress points through 2021, there are a great many products that are increasingly in short supply.

The worldwide demand for building products is at an all-time high, but manufacturing capabilities are still trying to catch up.

Therefore anticipating potential supplier shortages we are ordering extra stock to cope with demand. We will always go above and beyond to ensure deliveries are sent out promptly.

We are getting the vast majority of products out within 48 hours on a next day delivery, however we are quoting up to a 5 working day delivery to try and accommodate any variables that lockdown might present. 

We will let you know when you place your order when to expect it.

If you do need an item quickly please let us know and we will always try to help.

You should hold off booking fitters until after you have received your order.

Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for costs incurred as a result of delivery delays or complications.
